Not every photograph I take is worth keeping as a photograph. In many cases, I am moving past somewhere interesting so quickly that snapshots can only give me an impression. This was especially true for so many places around Deal Island, MD, which deserved more than point-and-click. I can saturate colors or crop dimensions but photography does not always capture whatever caught my eye in those ephemeral moments.

However, it always amazes me what my friend Corrinne Ward at r2n2arts can do, using these snapshots for reference material. She thought they’d make for some fun postcards!
