As a passing year came to its end, I enjoyed a trip vacationing down in Charleston, SC. It was a much welcomed break from the cold in Washington, DC, and I greatly enjoyed the change of scenery to palm trees and pastel townhouses for a moment. Admittedly, winter is not my favorite season but I do take pleasure finding reflections in puddles after rain when the ground freezes. Despite the relative warmth, the Holy City was still cold and wet enough for me to do just that in front of Randolph Hall at the College of Charleston.
