Old Town Alexandria

It has been a relatively mild winter this year, especially compared to my first one when I moved to Virginia with the 2016 blizzard. While I’ve admitted it is not my favorite season, I have felt a little nostalgic about wintertime this past week now that the grocery stores are starting to sell daffodils. Springtime is almost here but I would love one more walk around a snow covered neighborhood before warmer weather brings flowers.

Looking through my photos, a favorite memory for that has been when I explored Old Town in Alexandria last January. Pictured below is the home of “Light Horse Harry” Lee on Cameron St there.
